Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White
Landmark Badge

Model not yet available for customer delivery BUT the badges are available. Was the other way around in 2004 when my dad bought a new Discovery 2 Landmark. It was a 6 month waiting list for the badges.

The Landmark name was first given to the D2 it was a derivative special edition to the run out models of D2 before it was replaced by the D3. Now there has been two Landmark edtions of the D4 one was on the 2.7 TDV6 and the other was on the 3.0 SDV6 IIRC.

It makes sense in a way to use this name on the run out Disco models again as they did on the D2 but all colours where available back then.

Whole, point of having a limited edition is having something unique no? Now if you tell someone you drive a Discovery Landmark they will be left pondering which precise model you have Laughing

Surley to Christ the team at JLR could have come up with something unique name wise on the D4 Landmarks that have came and gone.

One nice touch is the mountians on the badge paying homage to the D1 which had the mountain decals on its front wings. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I thought all Landmark D4s were all 3.0 one in 2011 ish and the one that's about to be released? Which IMO is a waste of money, a lot of buyers have been put of as colour choice is limited and also puts entry level Disco now at £47k. I'm glad I moved when I did, I'm happy with the SE, can't really justify an extra £5k for an extra few bits a peices. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
