Will need a new turbo soon if it's not replaced! Sadly BMW only told LR about the breather filter is a replaceable item in 2007. BMW E36's are bad for popping turbos and this problem was passed onto the LR also. The early X5 and L322 diesels also have the same filter. Believe it or not BMW orginally claimed that this filter is not a replaceable item and will last the life of the engine.

It was only the 10th Jan so 1,000 in 10 days is still 36,500 miles in a year |
