I have to say that this subject has arisen because my old hatchback (Citroen Xantia) never got any dirt at all, ever on the rear window. In fact it wouldn't even get wet in rain if you were doing 30+. Now that's good design. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |

[quote="Lightwater"]Carry a small brush from a dustpan. As soon as you get to your destination it takes 30 seconds to dust off the back of the car, if it's dry weather.

It isn't a spoiler in reality though, as it offers no aero dynamic change at all. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

A few years ago when I was in England there was a drought and bush fires. England seems to be getting the drought, fire & flood cycle. The black Alfa 159 that I was driving was constantly covered in dust. Being black didn't help. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

We had water tankers ferrying water to Yorkshire a few years ago and around these parts in Lancashire, fires on the moors burn for days during the summer.
