See my post. The D4 EPB is also the same as the D3... Whistle Freelander 2 2007 TD4 Manual HSE Tambora Flame

I don't need an EPB in fact as far as I can work out, the only reason for a handbrake at all is for an MOT Very Happy my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Hope you don't snap your parking pawl, or ever need to secure the vehicle with a wheel off the ground then. Whistle Freelander 2 2007 TD4 Manual HSE Tambora Flame

If my parking pawl snapped, the lack of a handbrake I suspect would not be my first consideration, the hole in my pocket may well be Laughing my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Exactly. What I mean is the other way around - the parking pawl is no substitute for the handbrake, not being designed to take such stress... Thumbs Up Freelander 2 2007 TD4 Manual HSE Tambora Flame

epb

Clearly an underlying theme of EPB issues
It's the reason I have my FL2 Smile
I have a 07 plate passat that I have had years of EPB issues with Sad culminating in BCM failure and a dashboard like a Christmas tree
It's currently SORN until I get time to track down why I'm not getting a feed to the new n/s rear caliper
Really pleased with FL2 though!
