I don't need an EPB in fact as far as I can work out, the only reason for a handbrake at all is for an MOT |

Hope you don't snap your parking pawl, or ever need to secure the vehicle with a wheel off the ground then. |

If my parking pawl snapped, the lack of a handbrake I suspect would not be my first consideration, the hole in my pocket may well be |

Exactly. What I mean is the other way around - the parking pawl is no substitute for the handbrake, not being designed to take such stress... |
