When starting my 57 GS I sometimes (most times?) do not get an engine warning check light self check. If I press the start button without the clutch down the engine warning light works as expected i.e. comes on for a second or two and then goes out. I have recently had a number of issues with theconnections to the body control module but this is OK at the moment. Any suggestions ?.
