Which oil to use

Hi, We have a petrol FL2 and the manual say's use 0-30 oil. As we are on Australia and where we are it normally doesn't drop below 5 degrees can we use a different oil. Like a 5-30 or even 10-40.

Thanks

You can use 80w/90 if you like but I wouldn't advise it. Why do you not want to use what LR recommend for your car in your climate? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

I would get what it says as it needs to have A5/B5 as well.
Its not cheap but it is the best.
I had to get some to top up only yesterday, Castrol Titanium FST 4 liters for £46.99 from Halfords in the UK
OPIE oils also sell it for a few pounds cheaper and ship world wide.
