Headlights not working (dip & main)...HELP!!

Happy Christmas all...

I'm in urgent need of some help. The other day I realised that despite the dash showing that dip and main beam are working, this is not the case. I have no lights on my 63 plated FL 2 Dynamic apart from the fancy LED strip light surrounds. No running lights, no dip or main.
You can hear the shift between dip and main beam but still no lights!!

I've looked at the owners manual but no joy. Headlights are not listed at all.

Can someone please help as I obviously can't drive at night.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Ash

Dive into your manual and find the grid listing the fuses, check them all would be a good starting point.

Edit: Check all the ones pertaining to the headlights. That'd be a long boxing day evening for sure.

Out of interest do your brake lights/rear lights work?

All lights work. There are no fuses listed for headlights (dip or main).
Absolute pants!!!

Just been out in the rain and all seems ok. The driving lights work with the stalk in the 'off' position. Any other position is just the fancy LED surrounds. First car I've seen with no listed fuses or relays.

They may not have fuses but FET's and effectively self healing fuses. Sounds like there may be a short present that is keeping the feed shut down?
It may mean disconnecting a lamp assembly and trying to see if the other comes on, or a trip to a dealer for diagnostic check.

My 07 main headlamp fuses are located in the fuse pack under the glove box. Also, on the covers for the fuse boxes is a breakdown of the fuse layouts. Not sure if yours has them?

Fuse on mine is F9 in the passenger compartment fuse box, if its any help.

The wiring diagrams i've got access to don't indicate the circuit for the DRLs nor the signature lighting so am struggling.

I know, wish I could be of more help, but experience on my car will be limited on the 13.

Just grabbed the Haynes out, MY13 wiring diagrams still don't have any of the DRLs in the circuits. Interesting.

As Taz says, I fear a trip to a dealer/independent specialist.

Another option is go for the big Mexican Reset (batt disconnect and reconnect).

Cheers for the replies!
I'm going to disconnect the battery tomorrow and see if that helps. If no joy, I'll simply remove everything and see if it helps.

Censored !!

I bet it's the bulbs - they can tend to go one after another and unless you check, it easy not to notice until both go.

Are the lights like these? One of my bulbs blew, so I had no high or low beam at all on that side. If you have HB3 bulbs they only have one filament for both high and low beam, using the shutter as required for the beam pattern. With a blown bulb the led surround still worked for me. Maybe you had one bulb blow followed shortly by the second.

All,

Funnily enough it's still tipping it down over here in Wales!!! So I guess I'll sort it out in the rain.

I've just got back from work and will check the bulbs. If this is the problem, I will slap my own face...I hope it is as it'll be quick to sort.

As much as I like the Gucci LED surrounds, they are no good in the dark.

Standby standby

Can you believe it??? Both bulbs blown!!!!
One has a broken filament and the other looks scorched and probably gone too.

Just read another thread outlining this to be a fairly common problem.

Which bulbs shall I get then? Standard or nightbreaker types??

Cheers for the help.

I've slapped my face a few times for not checking the obvious faults first.
