AT3 should be fine in standard size. Aa a tyre I've not had any problems with them. I only went 245/70 to fill the arches a bit and gain that little bit more clearance.

All season or the standard tyre ? as there are 2 types it seems on the ASDA tyre web site but looks like good value. Thumbs Up FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Went through Kwik fit, good price on the tyres but ended up paying £50 for tracking adjustment.

Found they had rounded off 5 of my bolt heads so they refunded the £50, it looks like the bolts have a chrome cover over the heads, might replace them if I see some at a good price.

can't vote as there isn't an option for MTs

Yes I am still running mud tyres in an English summer, as nothing sounds as good, or clears water from the treads as good.

Hoping that getting out of the EU will allow Goodyear MTs back into the UK Razz Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

Finally got round to putting an update on here.
Chose to give a different tyre a go. Got 2 Yokahama Geolandar g012 on and have had them a few weeks.
So far excellent tyre. Quiet and heeps of grips when been out in the country and mud.
These are the g012 but have 2 of the brand new g015 ordered for the end of October when realeased, Really hoping to get some decent snow to see how they cope.

Having had my Goodyear wrangler at/sa + on for 14 months & 15k miles I can report that they still look brand new , there seems to be no wear , no uneven wear , they grip fantastic in all weather , snow, ice & hail no problem , had them on up through brechfa forest in the mud tracks & didn't get stuck once , now I'm only doing less than ten miles a week commute to work (cycle if the weather's good) they should be on there for quiet some time ...

Friday I had the new Hankook Kinergy 4S All Season Tyres fitted to my Standard 17" Rims these tyres seam to be the best I have ever had very quiet on the road and great grip off road.
I can't be bothered changing from winter to summer tyres anymore. Might be me just being awkward as I get older I have even started to restrict my wifes spending!. Very Happy

The Hankook Kinergy 4S H740 is an all-season tyre which has been manufactured to provide a multi-performance balance. The use of different sipes allows the Kinergy 4S H740 to have excellent summer and winter tyre capabilities simultaneously.

Hankook has designed the tyre with a high-grip silica compound for improved traction in wet and snowy conditions, and the design also lowers rolling resistance. The polyester tyre carcass line has improved sidewall stiffness to make it more robust and durable, which is further improved by ultra high strength bead wire.

Steering responsiveness is ensured through the use of high-hardness bead filler, which also assists with improved handling for motorists.
•Cutting edge manufacturing technology employed to deliver outstanding performance, stability, and grip.
•Tyre durability and strength maintained through a jointless cover reinforced belt.
•Broad-lateral grooves in the tread pattern for excellent snow traction performance.
•Excellent performance across a variety of conditions.
•10% braking reduction on snow and 6% improvement in the dry.

I'll be interested how these tyre wear with a view to fitting them in the future, have had Hankook icept's on the Discovery 2 and very impressed with them in wet/snow, with positive steering and quiet, also like you I'm finding it awkward changing wheels now. Sad so it's one set for all conditions now Thumbs Up

Latest 2016 Thinking on Tyres ?

I need 4 new (17R) tyres before the Winter and not in a hurry to replace again the original Good Year Wranglers so what is the best choice in 2016 ?

I note that Pirelli and Michelin are popular all year around choices but what else should I consider ?

Not off roading but will be out and about in all conditions and budget is not as important as safety.

Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
