Snow Foam Magic

I've probably missed it in a thread or two on here but is snow foam any good ?

I'm slightly worried about damage to paint work etc and have always just used a traditional wax shampoo type stuff but it seems that everyone recommends this Black magic cleaning product. Can the snowy stuff damage the car or is it as good as they say it is.

Any recommendations of which one to try?

Nice job.

Which one do you use?

Also I've read that the snow stuff is just a pre-wash so do you then wash it again afterwards

Same here love a bit of foam,

Snow foam is a pre wash used before you're shampoo not instead of. I use autobrite products which are excellent and you will also need a lance for your pressure washer to apply it.

I use this stuff

Jet wash car first, get rid of most of the dirt, then sno foam, leave it 20 minutes, if there is still a traffic film, I sno foam again and whip round the car with a mitt, rinse and job done.

Yus snow foam is a pre wash it lifts a lot of the nasty gritty bits and slides it away ...
i soak the car with water
then foam and wait for it to run off
blast with the power hose
and gently wash with me NOODLE sponge...

Foam wise i have found just normal car shampoo works just as good as the snow foam products...

My foam lance came from the auction site and fits on my karcher. 2011 SD4 XS

Ive got a snow foam lance, works a treat on my wife's coupe but I always seem to run out of snow foam on the freelander. Maybe I'm spraying the foam on too thickly. Other than that I like the stuff. Im using at the moment Valet Pro advance neutral snow foam. It's nearly run out so I need to order some more. Can anyone recommend any snow foam? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I might try that Pjbnet, cheap compared to the stuff I bought. A couple of posts above say that they soak the car first. I've never done that, always put the stuff on dry, maybe that's where I'm going wrong? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

LR Nut, how do you apply your foam? Thinly or thickly? Does a full litre bottle on your foam lance cover your car or do you need to top your bottle up? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I recently had my Karcher (K4?) die after many years of great service, and purchased a cheap VAX (VPW4B) from the Bay for a silly price of £89 delivered, and a snow foam attachment for 15.

Works perfect, just as powerfull as the karcher, though the engine sounds a little high pitched compared to karcher.
still its was cheap, powerful, delivered and works.

typically I use 0.5-0.75ltr of Demon snow foam concentrate per wash.
