are the lights CANBUS driven, could you have accidentally powered that line?

Possibly powered the canbus. Feed the high beam wire a 12v feed. Somehow me thinks this will not be a cheap fix Sad

The lights are driven, except the high beam and fog lights, by FET transistors.
All lights for each side of the car are taking power through a common fuse.
F17 for one side, F18 for the other.
This is why no lights are functioning for the entire side.

Hi

The light problem was in fact me, I forgot to plug them back in.

Sad

So if I fed into a non FET how on earth did it get so screwed up. On hang on, the 12v feed was from a thing brown/white wire under the seat, maybe that was somit special.

BTW Had another look at the fuse box in the engine bay, the covers were there but on removal I still could not see any large 60A fuses. No matter as the vehicle is now with a Landy specialist on the Team Valley Trading estate in Gateshead.

They came at lunch time and took it away on a low loader.

From the conversation I had with them and the symptoms I describes (Did I mention when the ignition was on the temp gauge was at max) it looking like I have damaged the control unit behind the glove box. They are about £450 so an expensive wiring job and cock up

The brown/white wire under seat is ignition switched supply for seat fed from cabin fuse box. You really don't want to be jumping wires in seat loom if you're not familiar with what each cable is for, airbag circuits in those plugs! 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)
