FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because Iā€™m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though šŸ˜Ž

I feel cheated by the BBC Weather app - I checked just a few hours ago.

I've also realised if anyone is using the Landy tomorrow, it'll be my wife getting to work Sad FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k

Tempting, only my wife is still stuck in the tailbacks caused by the snow. Would be a bit irresponsible for me to leave my 2 young kids in the house alone while I drove in the snow. They'd probably understand tho. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k

I went out for a play in the snow near Edinburgh this evening - great fun! And I made a highly unexpected discovery - my recently acquired Freelander MY2013 HSE seems to be much more stable and controllable in the snow than both my previous Discovery 3s! Looking forward to winter now..

Got out in the car today and I have to say,it was pretty dull. Which I suppose is the point - the car drove like it was on a nice dry road, not a packed snow dirt track. Good job Smile FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k

My journey home is 25 miles along the Lang Whang (A70). It took over an hour and a half.
I have Continental Cross Winters on and I was surprised at how bad they were.
Still fun though.
I did have someone drive up to within a couple of feet of the back of my car. This is on snow and ice with very little traction. WHY???? What were they thinking? It seems to be the norm these days.
I did a quick brake check which forced them to do the same. Funnily enough they kept a better distance after that.

Yep I found the same thing - FL2 is lighter and lower centre of gravity. Disco is fine if you're going slow and in a straight line but hairy round icy bends Rolling Eyes
