Hi hope your able to help if possible I have a rattling type noise when I lift off the throttle this happens under drive and also when stationary. The noise is not there as revs rise but is a clear rasping type rattle when the revs are taken off.

I`ve got a heat shield rattle, on my 11 plate, mainly on start up. I had a look underneath and although the off side (one in the area under the driver) is secured the near side edge is free as if the fitter at the factory was having another tea break. There are two empty holes on the chassis rail which look as if they should be supporting the shield. This must go back to when it was made as I have had no work done ,to my knowledge, in this area. |

Gravel in the heatshield is a common issue. Causes loud rattles. |
