Disabling Electronic Park Brake

I think I have asked this question before but I could not find anything when searching. As the title suggests is there a permanent way of disabling the EPB automatically engaging when the car is turned off for us fellow manual drivers? Realise it can be done manually if you hold the EPB down and then knock the engine off whilst continuing to hold the EPB for a further 5 seconds but it gets a bit annoying especially if someone else is has used your car the night before not ideal in winter to have the handbrake on Rolling Eyes MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

No it resets each time you restart the car then applies automatically unless you keep the button pressed again, its safety device, if it didnt folk would be putting in claims there car has rolled off as they forgot to reset again themselves, I think thats sensible somehow?

I prefer a manual proper handbrake myself, now if it was an option I would order one and check it was fitted before I drove off as well Laughing

Didn't know that, that's good to know Thumbs Up

I would like to be able to release the EPB without having to have your foot on the brake.

Yes, but there are sometimes, like when reversing into the garage, where it would be useful just to creep in with it idling and not have to touch the throttle.

I know there is likely to be a safety reason for this interlock but I am not a huge fan of loosing some of the manual control.
