England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Mine is not fuel related as it will lose power no matter what is in the tank for two to three second's then just pick up and go but it doesn't do it all the time it can. Go for days or weeks then just do it out of the blue with no warning at all ,the dealer seems to think that's its related to the eco stop /start system and the software update it had the other week was meant to have cured it which it did for a few days .

Try a bottle of millers diesel fuel cleaner : Surprised ,funny thing is the other week when I took my freelander in for the 2nd software update statstones wanted to charge me 15 quid for putting something like millers in the tank as its recommended to keep the fuel system clean so they told me Rolling Eyes any way I said no ,I went to halfords brought a bottle of millers for ten quid just thought I would try it ,put a good dose of in the tank before topping up with fuel and nearly blacked out tesco forecourt when I started the car : Embarassed ' so I give the car a blast down the motorway and it cleared up since then its ran sweet as a nut and the mpg as improved slightly so ever statstones were trying it on to make money off people or their is a proplem with the fuel system clogging up with gunck and landrover not admitting to anything ..
