England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

I predicted a long time ago that the way the authorities are reducing the speed limits lower and lower that we'll soon be back to having a man with a red flag in front of us all. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

The company I worked for put all drivers through various courses, one of which was a Cyclist awareness course to allow them to experience riding on busy roads. They also invited various cycling groups to experience the PCV/LGV drivers perspective.

All who attended spoke highly of the training.

Having driven/ridden M/C's, LGV's, PCV's for many years I firmly believe that our driving test system is floored in that there is not enough emphasis on other types of vehicle driver and giving consideration to them when driving.

As a Motorcyclist for 40 years now I'll be the first to agree there some real idiots out there but that applies to all road user groups..

Agreed Thumbs Up

I drive a 50ft tri axle coach everyday and it's amazing how many motorists are ignorant of the space I need, especially the tail swing, there is a few 90 degree left hand turns which require me to sit in the right hand lane and they just ignore all signals.

We do vulnerable road users as part of our CPC, we have very little complaints against us from cyclists. I just wish they would learn to read the big yellow sticker on the back telling them not to pass on the inside. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
