I don't know the HHT, but like a number of others here I run Ranger Ice winter tyres and they are proving to be very good indeed. Avon are a British company, albeit now owned by Cooper, and do seem to offer quality products at reasonable prices. |

I have had a set of these on since I bought the car 18 months ago. They looked fairly new and I have had no problems other than a puncture repair. They were fine in the mud of the LRO off road course and good on road. I would buy again except that I would like some Grabber ATs |

I have had these tyres fitted now with the same company - it was a difficult price to ignore. I'll update too after a few more miles but they seem fine so far! |

Tyres fitted this morning put some miles on them car seems to drive so much better tyres seem nice and quiet got a good deal here I think,I thought Avon were budget tyres but heard the fitter on phone to someone saying they most definitely are a premium brand. Well happy whatever they are and it's a nice feeling knowing the weather is getting worse but at least what's between me and the road is loads better than it was. |

I'm looking at the same tyres for mine. Avon has always had a good name and I would say they are definitely not budget.

Not a budget tyre. It's a while ago, but LR used to fit Avons as standard on the Defender. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
