The AA App

Had a mailshot from the AA today, who I have breakdown cover with. It mentioned they have an app which can be used to report breakdowns and track recovery progress so I downloaded it to have a nosey.

It has a section on dash warning lights and you can view by manufacturer. I've had a look through the LR warning lights and it looks pretty useful. Each one has a wee blurb about what it means.

Could be a useful reference for anyone with a smart phone. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Of course these days it could be from a spammer and the warning lights are to show the degree your banking details has been invaded and swiped.
Im afraid I never download links anymore for that reason what ever site they are attached to.

Go to either Apple store or Google App store and search for "The AA". Genuine app so nothing to worry about... FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I should add I don't know if you have to be a member and sign in in order to use the features, but free to find out. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

You need to be a full member to access the warning lights, parking and fuel features.

Membership through your bank account (e.g. Lloyds) doesn't cut it.... Steve

Thought so! That is why I had to ask for a link as I'm not a member there. (All to do with breakdown cover for trailers) Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Now come on that over egging the pudding buying a LR and paying for breakdown recovery as well, absolutely over the top unneeded extravagance.

I've had the App for a while, it should be able to connect you with the AA if you break down and give them your location but the only time I tried it it wouldn't do it. The fuel price part is good as you can also set it for an area where you think you will need to fill up on a journey, downside of this is you only get the cheapest 5 within 2 miles and only allowed 5 searches in 24 hrs Mine, Saab convertible

Yep. The one time I broke down, the app wouldn't relay my location either. Steve
