2013 steering wheel in 2008 FL2?

Sorry for asking once more, I searched the forum and I found a lot of conflictive answers.

Is it possible to fit a 2013 LR2 steering wheel in a 2008 model using the BBS adapters? Are these the same adapters as used for the Disco?
My brother upgraded his DS3 using the BBS adapters and it worked perfect.

Any chance to install a new steering wheel in the 2008 model?

The reason I'm asking is because the current steering wheel is extremely sticky. So I will need a new wheel, and I would prefer the more stylisch 2013+ version. The airbag should fit without any problems, correct?

Thank you for your hints and guidance.

Greetings from Vienna,
Martin

Thank you, but I checked this before.

The difference is that I do not want to add a heated steering wheel, just the "standard" 2013 wheel without heating.
Some say is should work, some say it will not work.

Anybody who has swapped the steering wheel (without heating)?

From what I understand the wheel itself will fit but the switch packs use different circuitry
So I think your back to "no". MY15

Is the later wheel more stylish? couple of round buttons instead of square, I havent really noticed that much difference to say yes its a must have over the earlier FL2?
Having had both versions I actually prefer the texture of the rim finish on the early cars to the later one.
