Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Prior to buying current plate, as earlier post, I saw this on a DVLA Auction
DRU 6E with a reserve of £695 + auction fees. I was going to bid and then realised DRU GE or Druggy!!!
I made £3950 + auction costs and was advertised in Sunday Times the following week for £18,995 + costs over 20k.
Now in Sunday Times listed ad for plates with names DRUCE, no price and not surprised its still unsold. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

It was used by a guy named Ian Mills who was the chief engineer of the Dunlop Denovo division when I drove it.

I believe it's now owned by SP Tyres.

Ian Milles became the MP for Nuneaton.

One of the lads who works for me asked me to witness his plate transfer (sign a box on a form). Happy to oblige I asked him how much he was getting. Oh about £12k he said.

I'm in the wrong job

Nearly 40 years ago I worked part-time of an evening for a garage that was contracted by the AA. I had to go out one Sunday evening near to Petticoat Lane market - a very famous fashion market at the time. A trader had broken down with half his stock still on his van and it required towing back to our garage for repair the following day. Not wanting to leave his stock of clothes on the van, he came back to the garage with me and phoned his wife to come down and pick him and his remaining stock up. He was a 40 something, balding, fat Asian chap. His wife, also Asian, came down in a new looking Jag and she must have been about 25 years old and was a right cracking looking bird. The Jag had the reg number 505EXY. He must have been worth a few bob. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
