aftermarket rear diff?

Mine's blown up and local indy dealer is recommending a new one at £1200 but an aftermarket one. Any idea who makes after market diffs?

Have contacted Ryan as well and ringing around some more local Indy's to see what their prices are for a rebuild and if they'll actually perform one.

I paid £700 (fitted) for my refurbished diff, including oils and replacing the oil in the Haldex.

Land Rover quoted £2,300... Shocked

So your quote of £800 is about right. 2013 SD4 Auto HSE Luxury Firenze Red

Cheers mate

LR main dealer is quoting £600 for the repair so probably doing to do that. £1200 from the indy was a little too steep.

No problem, good luck with the fix. Just wish they made the diff from something stronger than a beer can in the first place! 2013 SD4 Auto HSE Luxury Firenze Red

what indy was it? I think the quote from LR is for a bearing kit while the indy is changing it out for you.

I used PROMEC near llantrisant and i changed the diff for a refurbed one for i think 800. Good as new then.

My diff repair was around 600 quid at the main dealers, but that was in 2012, so if its still that now they havent put the prices up much, which I cant quite believe, but there you go.
