Modern car paints have a clear lacquer coat which is what gives it the shine as most paints are quite dull on their own.

You can get a 150ml can from Land Rover. I got one in Fuji White, not cheap but it matches.

Probably a combination of Dark paint colour and the ambiant temperature, car absorbs to much heat,
