Hi all

Just a quick one, I bought my freelander 2 the beginning of last month. With the car I got a 15 month warranty which I am pleased with.

Today one of the power fold mirrors gave up the ghost. I presume that as I have only had the car 6 weeks that it should go back to the place I bought the car rather than claiming through the warranty?

Is there still the whole 3 month warranty thing when buying a car?

Try the seller first if they are really non-op but it's in my mind that there is a thing with mirrors that stops them from working by design but I'm not sure what it is. Something like if they have been folded by pressing a mirror button or the two buttons together or some such, they need to be unfolded by the same method.

Some one with the knowledge will be along soon no doubt but if both have stooped operating simultaneously it is likely something very simple.
