F5 fuse not live ?

I'm trying to wire in my harman kardon drive and play. As it has no power button I wanted it to switch on and off with the
Ignition. I used a piggyback fuse in f5 but it has no power. Currently using f15 but this is no good as it take ages to shut off after turning off ignition.

Anyone know why f5 isn't getting any power ?, if it makes a difference my front 12v socket also does not work.

Cheers

From reading some threads on here I gather that it doesn't power anything. But everyone seems to use it for their sat navs , dash cams etc. Just found it strange that it wasn't giving any power when so many people have used it.

I managed to get the front 12v socket working by changing the fuse , should really of thought about that before posting !! So I'm using that to run the drive and play for now. I guess the F21 fuse could work so may give that a go as.

Thanks for your help Thumbs Up

There is a spare ignition live in the boot fuse box but I can't remember the actual number as I use it to power a active mounted roof aerial that does dab and the works digital CB.

I gave up in the end and just plugged it in to the front socket. Good to know about the rear supply should I need it Thumbs Up

For anyone interested the harman kardon drive and play is a pretty good bit of kit for iPod playback. Picked it up for £25 on eBay so not exactly expensive ! The display is installed on the dash by the drivers dash speaker grill and the jog wheel down by the handbrake. All works well.
