I dont really like the side steps/skid bars with the silver edge, it makes the car look like a fairground dodgem in my opinion. |

The side steps are not the best even the genuine JLR ones the silver edging pits and they are bad for crumbling away and actually falling off after 5 years! The winter salt is a contributing factor especially the amount they use up here

I took the side steps off my D4, I bought the car at 2 years old and they were rotten. I much prefer the tubes.

Well in my case I have Roof Rails which I use on a regular basis to carry long lengths of timber as I'm still renovating! Side steps are a necessity as I don't like using the door sills to stand on.

That tailpipe trim didn't look too bad when viewed from the rear (though it's not my thing)

In the old films a policeman would ride on the running boards and shout "follow that car". Has this happened to you yet? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Side steps as they offer better use ( cleaning roof, sometimes stops tits in smaller cars bashing your lr2 with their door, keeps road spray from flicking up so much ) Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto |

I agree don't think I've got it lined up properly yet - too much haste to get it fitted will sort it and re-post No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS "Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car |
