Wheel arch rubber trims

Hi All,

Does anyone else have the same issue, the rubber type trim coming away from the wheel arch? Are these simple to replace?

Yes they just push on drop, off type of thing, they are readily available via the dealers around 40 quid or so a set.
Water gets into them and corrodes the internal steel clip section, it expands and you get what you have there, they seems to last around 5 years or so.

I replaced mine, quick and easy to do. Worth washing out the wheel arches when you take them off, as there was some dirt trapped in there on my car.

When I put the new ones on, I added some black gutter sealant to each end - the metal u shaped profile that holds them on was visible embedded in the rubber where it had been cut to length. Hardly surprising that they corrode and do not last long Rolling Eyes 2013 SD4 Auto HSE Luxury Firenze Red

Do you have to take arch off to fit them? 2010 HSE SD4 in Santorini black

No, they are just a push fit over the lip of the wheel arch. 2013 SD4 Auto HSE Luxury Firenze Red
