Rear Diffs--Consumer Rights Act 2015

This states you can bring an action for up to 5 years if something goes wrong with goods that you buy.
How would FL2 owners stand with rear diffs. A documented know concern well reported and discussed on this forum.
Millions of other vehicles can go a lifetime without rear diff problems. All FL2's (3) Gone

FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Which is why LR give a contribution depending on age and mileage, I doubt that it is restricted to main dealers, your independent should be able to do the work. Actually the dealer is the vendor and responsible for known defects, if they refuse to play the trading standards are your friend, but I would imagine Ryan would intervene on your behalf. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Bear in mind the new consumer rights bought in recently only cover purchses after that date. Anything before that is covered by the old rules.
