tyres wearing too quickly

please help
sept 2013 i got 12,000 miles out of pirelli scorpions zero
sept 2014 i brought goodyear wranglers and have just had to change them after getting 13,000 miles
the rears i change every year and the fronts i change every 2 years
the tracking is correct and i have even wear

i am not a boy racer and drive to the speed limits etc
is it normal to only get these milages out of tyres or is there something wrong with either the car or my driving style

Sorry Twinkle, but something is very wrong. In my experience, Wranglers are good for >30,000 miles. Fronts wear a little quicker than rears. What sort of wear are you getting? ie. uneven; outside edges; inside edges; sawtooth or whatever.

The tyre compound will have an impact so some tyres wear more quickly than others. Auto/Manual impacts too as does your driving style. Not just how hard you put your foot down but whether you make use of heavy torque. And don't forget tyre pressure too. In other words, lots of things!

I used to get 40K miles out of Bridgestones on my old 4x4 so I'd think that 12K was a bit low!
