I bought a mesh grille to mine but then, before I fitted it, I found out it looks just like this:

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

Hi

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to swap my silver front grille (2013 XS) to the black one as seen on the dynamic version and if so what is the cost and is it an easy swap?

Thanks in advance

Is the HST grill still available, if so how much and from where? A couple of months back a few suggested a black grill and side vents, seriously thinking about going down that route, would get the chrome piece above grill done in the liquid copper wrap to match the rest.

Have you thought about changing the front bumper/grill over to the facelift version? FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Love the black top, is it vinyl or paint job?

As far as I'm aware it's just a bolt off then on job.
There no doubt will be a thread on here somewhere when someone else has done it.

You can then get the grill spars painted in black when you're having the liquid copper applied to the bumper.
And if wanted, you can always add the chrome trim (as in the MY13) if one comes without it.
Best place is eBay for bumpers. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Don't think I want to be changing bumper to be honest, if I'm gonna go black then I'll obviously need a grill to be sprayed, body is wrapped, will either get a hst grill and spray it, or try and think of another way to work with original.
