Bottom book at best for year just as it is described on your V5 with those miles would be my view. Is it still a commercial there ?

Something like this may get you a value to work off and recover some of your outlay.

Hmm, any modification from standard in theory reduces the resale value of a vehicle to Joe Public or the trade and the resale value of a ten year old car is what you can get for it on the day. . To the general public all of the work you have done won't count . So your target audience with all the work is Joe Enthusiast. Put it up for sale on here at £8500 and see what reaction you get, this is the the place where people will understand what you have done ,the place where many love the car and won't judge it by the plate , they might be considering buying and doing a project , and you might save them several thousand quid doing it themselves 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

To most people it's going to be an S-spec with 270K and mismatched seats!

A LR salesman told me a few years ago that the only thing that matters on a car after about 6 years is bodywork condition, mileage, original spec level, service history and age. After that you can add what you want but you won't get your money back. My 2011 79k GS was sold by a dealer in London recently for about £8.5K if that helps, I was given £7.5k trade in. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Not sure but I think a commercial vehicle, especially a modified one, will be very expensive, if not impossible, for a private owner to insure. However, because of its commercial status, it will be a good tax write off as a company 'car' with no personal tax liabilities for the self-employed or business owner. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

In real estate as sellers say, buyers are not prepared to pay what it is worth! You will sell an un-tarted up property more easily.

Could you let me know how you insure the 'van' with the extra seats in?
