2011 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Stornoway Grey

roof rail mounted lamp ......

Not for every one but there are a few of us that use there freelander 2 for a shooting vehicle. ....

For this mount I used one of these

It's a COMET RS 66OU mount found on the auction site (£24)

And one m12 rose joint...plus one long m12 bolt with nut..

The threaded bar m8 I picked up front B&Q but I need to re cut the thread on one end as the lamp I'd a different thread it may be possible to get the correct threaded bar to fit the lamp....I don't know the correct thread size it was guess work..

That's excellent work. Well thought out. I have been looking for an antennae mount for roof rails - seems that Iran will do nicely so thanks for the link SD4 HSE Lux

No worries I have been in touch with deben ant the thread size in the lamp for mounting is 1/4 whitworth... 2011 SD4 XS
