Yep - had a T29 too, on One2One (I think?). That phone has the honour of being the only one I've dropped down the toilet (so far). And no, the bowl or rice didn't work |

I just looked at that and thought I should add a 'not my photo' disclaimer! |

I would like a simple phone that handles calls and texts and also has a really good camera. Ease of use is far more important than shoals of features. I want a phone/camera, not a mini computer. I'm currently using a Nokia Lumia 520 on a contract with EE - that phone has thousands of features that I'll never use or understand. Any ideas? Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

My first mobile was a "proper" carphone in 1985. The base unit was like a small suitcase in the boot of the car and there was a wired telephone handset mounted on the dashboard. To show how much power it took, I was away on a course for a week and regularly made calls in the breaks. At the end of the week I discovered that I had run the car battery flat and there was just enough power to call the RAC and get me started. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Those were the days! I had a Motorola with the removable battery pack in the boot (of my Rover 820 ). The handset clipped on to the battery pack to become a "real" mobile! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
