Hi All

Just joined the forum on behalf of a friend who has no interweb, I don't know much about these vehicles so please be patient with my questions.

The drivers seat back will no longer go forward enough to suit his driving position. This was after he reclined the seat during a lunch break and felt a small 'clunk'. I'm guesing that maybe a gear has slipped a notch or a sensor/switch has moved. (Electric controls by the way.)

The memory settings will not return the seat to where it was programed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

OK, so I've searched for pictures/diagrams of seat assemblies to know what's inside the drivers seat and can find everything but. Has anyone got an exploded view of the assembly?

I'm starting to think that maybe an encoder or step motor may be used to return the seat to pre set position via the memory switch.

Any help would be appreciated.
