my clutch slave cylinder had burst its seals and contaminated everything, apparently that's what caused the DMF to fail and I should have realised that according to the warranty company. I had no visible signs of oil leaks at all. |

apparently its all in the same housing, the warranty company (Warranty Wise) rejected immediately after their engineer had inspected it but didn't bother to inform me until over a week later. It was my garage that did the work that informed me 2 days after the inspection when they were informed. |

I don't understand how the dmf could be affected by a fluid leak from the clutch slave. |
