One of the major contributing factors for me buying a Freelander 2 besides other pluses was the ride, even on the 19" over its competitors. I was seriously considering a tiguan "R" and both Q3 and 5 and after driving the FL2 was amazed how much better it was. I decided I couldn't live with the German options. MY15

I could agree with the smoother ride as both the Q5 and X3 (mine being msport which has sport suspension) are a bit firmer but to say its quieter? Both my FL2's sounded like someone rattling nails in a metal tin compared to the hushness of my X3, Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
