Well after 5 months it's broken again It's been OK since the cam sensor was finally diagnosed as the difficult to start fault but on Friday it started marking it's territory with PAS fluid. Had a look and it looks like one of the metal ends of the PAS hoses is either corroded through or has fractured,

Anyone else had it happen

Anyway, back at the dealers now to be fixed under extended warranty

Quick update, had a phone call from Guy Salmon this afternoon. they are putting a new steering pump and hoses on it, and they have also found something split on the air intake system so are going to replace it, All being done under extended warranty Glad we took up the option to extend till June 2016.

Well, got the car back fixed FOC, cleaned inside and out (Great job) and a complementary bottle of Guy Salmon water and Tin of Guy Salmon mints left in the car

Whats special about Guy Salmon water than a bottle of mineral water then?

Does it reach the parts of LR owners others cant reach?

Nothing special I would imagine but probably helps them feel justified with the extortionate labour charges
