United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Lago Grey
Engine hicup

Hello guys

This is my first posting hope you can help?. My current Freelander is a 2011 model which has developed an annoying problem. At slow speeds when I accelerate I get a brief hiccup and then it drives normally.

No other issues with the car, any thoughts anyone?

Hello Wedgie

I think the problem/hiccup is the same as the Feelander 2 Hesitation / Judder / Stuttering fault which i am experiencing too at the moment. Can i suggest you read the Feelander 2 Hesitation / Judder / Stuttering fault thread as it contains lots of info relevant to your problem. I believe that landrover are looking into it .(see alex_pescaru post too).

Thanks Marky

Having read all the extensive thread this seems to be a common issue and my car fits with the VIN numbers for the problem.

It seems there is no definite fix but a big thanks to everyone on the forum for their input as I am now well armed when I visit the dealer.
