[Sold] Witter detachable tow bar...

Located in SE Cornwall.

Witter detachable tow bar. On the car for less than a year from new. Two detachable units, but no keys. Suitable for spares? Too good to throw away, but I’ve not had a Freelander 2 since September 2015! Hopefully someone can use something.

I’ll put a price in of £25, but open to offers for whatever it’s worth... Please don’t ask me to include delivery in this price Laughing

However, I can arrange collection from Exeter, or I’ll be going from Plymouth to near Inverness in late June, if we are able to meet up en route.

I know that it fitted anything post 2011, not sure about pre 2011. Also, my major annoyance is that the keys weren’t there. It’s might yet find them over the weekend though. I’d be happy to arrange carriage to save this all going to waste, but it might be of limited use until I can find those keys!! Rolling Eyes

For anyone who has lost their towbar keys checkout the website replacementkeys.co.uk for getting new ones cut to the original key number which should be on the lock. No connection to the seller but I got a couple for my DS towbar as they were missing when I got it and I reckoned the dealer would never track them down. Quick delivery and only a few pounds each! Thumbs Up

Is the towbar still useable as the towing bit/flange is locked in the towbar?

I'm in Newton Abbot so not far to Exeter to meet you. Definitely interested if it can fit a 09. Even more interested if you find the keys! Laughing

I don’t see why it shouldn’t work at all, as I never removed the detachable part of the tow bar since the day it was fitted Thumbs Up

That would be nice and easy. Is it okay if I put you down as second dibs after Space?

Looks like I've missed out to Space. If for any reason it falls through then yes I'd like the second dibs though. Smile
