United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame
SE Tech, XS difference.

Hi everyone,
Long time no see. So after 4 years and 60k of near faultless motoring I've decided to change. My 2007 SE now has 100k and have decided to go for another Freelander2 (MY14). I like the spec of my SE which I think is now an XS? But I noticed there is now an SE, SE tech and an XS.
I have searched but can't seam to be able to tell the difference between them.

Has the XS been replace by SE ? Please can someone help/explain. Faugh A Ballagh

OK, I have just swapped my Freelander and had the same question.

Essentially, the new SE is the replacement for the GS, the SE Tech replaces the XS and the Metropolis replaces the HSE Lux.

I cant speak for the other two levels of trim but apparently the SE Tech has some £1000ish worth of extras over the XS. I have to say my old XS had auto dimming rear mirror and electric seats whereas the SE Tech did not (so probably extra options on the XS by previous owner).

The SE Tech has lower profile tyres as standard and no spare wheel, it uses the Instant Mobility System.

Not a lot of info but I hope that helps.

If you do a search online for "freelander 2 sales brochure pdf" you'll find a number of sales brochures available for download for you to compare spec's. Hippo's videos - Honorary Tratterer
