I own an 07 Freelander2 and I have water coming in from somewhere. When I lifted the driver side rubber mat the mat underneath was saturated. Any one had this one. My nearest dealer is Pratstones Cardiff and wouldn,t let them touch it with a bargepole. If I can sort it out myself I would rather do that |

I am sure I remember a previous post which advised of water coming up through the rubber seal around the steering column after driving through a large puddle/heavy rain?

I have posted on this one before most likely to be coming through the bulkhead/steering column seal where water depth and speed are factors still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

Can also be caused by drain pipe from roof rail guttering (or atleast that is what I un derstood happened) become detached. Happened to me and was fixed under warranty. |

Had a 'paddle' in there but not past wheel height, as more water has appeared in the passagger footwell this afternoon suspect the lake was not the cause and the water does not smell freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold |

If the front A pillar head lining is damp and there's water in the footwell it's almost certain it's a blocked sunroof drain pipe, had this on mine a few months ago, quick trip to the dealer sorted it. |
