Four years now with an Actifry, replaced the paddle a while back, agreed it takes ages to do your own chips from peeled potatoes, so we use oven chips (no oil required) and it doesn't dry them out, no burnt bits, also cooks sausages, chicken etc.

Don't miss the Deep Fat Fryer. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

It was fine for Chicken nuggets but chips were not good, possibly as I'm a big lad and filled it up Laughing

Passed your comments to Mrs Pegleg who asked if she could use my Company Barristers. They have agreed but cost £4K per hour.
Shall we settle out of Court for say £42000?
Then I can get a newer D4 than ad5454654 Laughing Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

cqr,
Think you've answered my question.
I'm looking to fry only chips, even then once a month or so.
I was thinking down the route of an air fryer but from your comments, I can only conclude that for frying chips they aren't as good. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

If it's proper chips you're after, then a proper fryer like the one pictured with lard or dripping, if you are only doing a few then pre boil them a little or you will end up with hard chips, alternatively do an extra spud and fill the basket, you'll eat them anyway Laughing once a month won't hurt (much)

Regards to Mrs W Thumbs Up I'll remember to duck next time we meet Whistle
