At start, nothing happens. few times.

When i push start/stop button, nothing happens, only light and everything come on.
but the car will not start. must turn off the ignition and on, car starts normally. not often , happens occasionally.

England 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Loire Blue

English is fine. I'm assuming you have your foot on the brake (auto) or clutch (manual) when you try to start it. If so, could it be the inhibitor switch playing up. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Youre not pushing the clutch pedal right down, you might think you are but often its easy not to.

Manual.

How can i check the inhibitor switch?
