Unbelievable Update.!!! this is what happened ONE WEEK on from above. Took landy in after yet another jump start for appointment, service desk said right we'll look at it !!! 3 hrs later, phone call, ' hello, your car is ready' back to dealer who says ' I have some good news and some bad news' GOOD news ' we have changed the hi- level brake light' BAD news ' we need to order a battery in and also parts for driver seat' Me ' so let me get this right, you knew about these faults ONE WEEK ago but have not got a new battery in ready? Dealer, 'no' Me ' so you are sending me back home ( out in the sticks ) with a battery that is and a drivers seat that drops even though you have had a weeks notice ? Dealer ' would you like a drink' Me,' no thank you' but since we surrounded by new cars can you not take a battery off one of them until you get a battery in' Dealer ' that's a good idea' 40 mins later and I'm heading home to return in ONE WEEK for a drivers seat part. UNBIEVABLE ?? but sadly true. |

I had exactly the same problem with my manual seat, they asked me how heavy I was and at 18stone (I am 6Foot) they implied I was too heavy!

Got the same problem, message has appeared four times over the last ten days, latest on Saturday after a 200km non stop daytime drive across France, waiting for the ferry with radio on for less than a minute and it appeared, spent the ferry crossing worrying if it would start as I was parked and chocked on the turn round ramp on Normandy Express fast craft. Booked in for Thursday. MY14 TD4 manual XS Orkney grey.

well mate it seems after all the lies and crap I had to put up with it was finally found to be a faulty electrical unit in the passengers door, hope this helps. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

I appreciate this thread is few months old but I'm having the same problem; dealer "fixed" the warning light issue today, charging battery and replacing key battery only for my wife to start the car this evening and have the 3 minute warning message come on upon starting the car.
