you're not sure? What do you want next? Get an extended test drive or hire something for the weekend and see if it suits, a sports car in this weather will be nice but don't forget the good weather doesn't hang around, unlike a wife/girlfriend |

Just covering all the bases Taz Looking at a 8 month Astra GTC 2.0D. 2 1/2 years manufacturers warranty still on it, 60+ mpg and £110 VED. I drive around 15-20k miles a year, and for the few really bad snow days we get in North Nottinghamshire is a AWD really necessary. Maybe just having a crisis after the £1300 ive spend on servicing, brakes and DMF in the last month. I don't want to be splashing any more big cash on it for a while and the droning is nagging me (again that's not the wife/girlfriend droning ) |

Get a Mercedes and after a couple of years of services and repairs you will gain a whole new perspective on motoring costs. |

I had a similar dilemma, just me and er in doors (burd) and stopped playing golf so the Disco was a bit of a luxury, the only thing that came close was the Freelander never even considered anything else, fuel economy dosen't worry me.

I had a Mec through work and the thing was constantly in the dealership - I reckon 6 times a year it would need a repair of £1,000 or more, it was an absolute nightmare.
