Like many others, there are places I park that coincidentally appear to be gathering spots for birds with large appetites and poor bowel control!

I too would like to know this. The obvious thing is to wipe it off while fresh, but we all know that doesn't happen. I've tried loads of sprays and wipes and nothing really lifts it. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Wet paper towels left on the dropping with some patience work well. Might have to re-wet a couple of times. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Wet towel left on the deposit while you have a brew. Come back, wash it off, no drama. |

The paintwork needs to be kept well polished with a real quality carnuba wax.

I read somewhere that modern paints are not as good as they used to be due to EU regulations on solvent usage. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Got a mark on mine - seems to have damaged the lacquer even though I washed it off same day. I assume JLR will say it's our fault for not buying the expensive extra guard treatment from the dealer. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
