Dave T's post was a kick in the
Wouldn't cover his injectors, leaving him £3k worse off, with the car worse than it went in. Though the dealer was partly to blame, as they replaced the injectors without authorisation, and would not fit the original injectors back to the engine...
Then, we found a damaged con rod. WW said not covered, and left him with the cost of replacing his engine out of his own pocket
Also has a turbo failure on a TDV8, covered by WW. They wouldn't authorise or send out an engineer to see the car. They wanted the turbos removed from the car, at the customers expense, to be sent away to their own "independent" turbo specialist to assess.
Funnily enough, the way the had failed was specifically not covered
If you must have a warranty, stick with WarrantyDirect

I have not received an offer of an extended warranty from anyone, warranty ran out on Sunday, maybe because I only had one service done by the Dealer and the cock up made of the paperwork led me to believe that maybe some bits were missed and no invoice,
Cancelled the service plan, and when contacted for this year for a service a conversation regarding the frequency of the brake fluid change, I asked if the cost included that, no sir, anyway it's every 2 years, so not this year, me, you didn't change it last year, them, LR changed the frequency sir, me well what faith have I in your service if you don't check the history, well that's the price sir, I think I will go to a garage I can trust, that's your decision sir.
Probably won't be offered a warranty then my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
