Did you have the Chrales Wright font shrunken down by a few MM? What did they say when the pulled you? MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Thats a good point about visibility in the dark, I'm lazy and rely on my parking sensors though Rolling Eyes

Think the darker I go the better contrast there will be on a grey car. Plus for security think I'll be going with limo on all back and leave the dr and pss sides alone.

I've decided against tints and am going for a set of UV blinds for mine - had them on an X-Type estate - looked just as good as tints and because they are easily removed I sold them on when I got rid of the car Shocked
PLUS only about £60 a set these days Cool No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

I read somewhere that it was originally proposed that cars in places like Spain, Portugal, Greece etc where they have a lot of sunshine could tint all windows including the front ones but that in places like Norway, Finland etc this would be a problem especially in the dark winters. The EU wanted a one size fits all solution hence the current rule of clear at the front and tints in the back if you want them. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

EU Yawn

In the Philippines car jacking is so common that the police encourage you to have limo tints on the front. This would be dangerous on the fronts as it will impair your vision at night!

A U.S. motorcycle company a few years back where testing tinted helmet visors and there findings were that a 50% tinted visor did not impair much vision against their 70% tinted visors when driving at night. The level of impairment was so small that they could not measure the level accurately. However they never seemed to challenge the U.S. law. Some states in the U.S. also require the front drops to be 70% tint. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Looking good - thanks for the pic gives me an idea of what a FL looks like with them fitted.
As I said earlier I have used them on a previous car without any problems No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Front windows are almost at maximum with production tint.
In Northern Ireland MOT's are carried out by government stations to exactly same regulations as rest of UK except they use a Lux Meter to check tinted glass on front door glass.
About 12 years ago (before I retired) Range Rover Vogues failed 1st MOT on factory tinted front windows.
A number of them came over on ferry to Scotland where we did not have meters, and still don't, to be tested and they passed as we only did a visual check and were perfectly satisfied that they met the requirements. This was eventually sorted out by VOSA. All FL2's (3) Gone
