mad axeman alert
radiation alert

It wouldn't last 5 minutes in Norfolk - the roads here would over-work the unit and cause it to catch fire! Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014

Research, yes but come on..... What's it going to do, tell you to swerve around a pothole ??

This is one of the many reasons (some known, some hidden) why Landrover products are becoming ludicrously expensive - goons like these are being paid fat salaries. FL2 2007 57 GS

So you swerve round the pothole onto the wrong side of the road and get hit by a vehicle coming the other way.

Just like the pillocks who if a drain is blocked and the road flooded drive round it on to your side of the road and expect you to stop? Mad

JLR should be selling this technology to Local Authority Highway Departments for their road survey vehicles so they can use the info to programme a more efficient road repair setup.

On JLR vehicles just another gimmick to put the price up and how will the salesperson demo it when they cannot even demo a sat nav.

Simple.... are you in the UK - yes, well then pot hole ahead...

PS Been super cynical this is actually going to generate data and therefore funds for JLR so dont kid your self this is for the driver...

Our roads are one big pothole so does that mean the car wont want to go out at all?? you know if its going the avoid them? Shocked
What happens if the pothole is under the surface flood water? a missing manhole cover.
