can you lower manual passenger seat even if there is no leve

Hey Guys...I have a 2013 xs with manual leather. Question is, the passenger seat is so damn high its ridiculous and obviously it doesnt have a lever to lower it BUT....knowing that all things are usually on these cars, just not plugged in...I'm wondering if the mechanism is actually there but just not with the actual lever...not sure if i'm making sense. I had a 4 door Astra once but you could still tip the seats forward like a 2 door if you lifted the bits under the seat ( no lever was on the side of the seat as it was a four door ).....as it was still the same seats as a 2 door. 2007 HSE, Auto, silver...gone but never forgotten.

England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Hi Andy

I have an electric base for the passenger side for sale at present. Not sure how we could check this out, I suppose if I apply 12v in the right direction we could see how low it would go. Let me have a look this evening.
