photos web site

I found this site showing pictures taken in the map grid of your choice

http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/SE4370

In this picture the farthest extend of the flooding is in my field, and the middle of the flood is the river Swale you can see the tops of the flood bankings. In the distance is my straw stack covered in tarpaulins instead of a proper roof due to kids burning the barn down a couple of years ago Evil or Very Mad

On the same site are some close up pictures of my cousins house even though it is at the end of a private road. I like the site but feel its a bit odd that people can stand outside your house, take a photo and then post it on the internet showing a grid reference to its exact location Shocked At work

Laughing There where four pubs in our village, now only two Confused One is going to be a house soon. The one in the pic got sold to be a house, but failed to get planning for change of use, the new owner isn't allowed to knock out the bar area of the pub or take down the pub signs outside Laughing . Its on the market again so you never know it may re-open as a pub again yet Very Happy It was a good pub, just out of the shot is a big archway that leads to a big beer garden...ah sweet memories  At work

Er no bargains here
http://www.businessesforsale.com/accountingweb/a646032.aspx Shame really as Mrs G would love to run the place as a restaurant.

A few of us in the village have often discussed a group purchase but I feel that would end in tears At work
