Had a good drive out with a dealer technician who picked up the vibration in the gear lever and the dashboard trim. THis was a new problem for him; he had only had to put new gear change cables on one car up to now (and not for a vibration).

I've now been out with the regional service advisor (Roger, who covers Sheffield to Shetland!). He picked it up as a body boom at 1650 or so in all gears, most noticed in 6th becuase its a cruising speed. He confirmed this by driver a demo car and juding mine as "typical"
